Abhijeet (Jeet) Vaidya, CEO and Chief Strategist

Abhijeet (Jeet) Vaidya brings over 19 years of experience in the IT industry to OpenTech Media, with the last 12 years being in senior management positions handling sales, customer service and customer delivery teams. Before joining OpenTech, Jeet was the Founder and VP Sales in Mentorware, Inc. Over a period of six years, he led the effort to acquire blue-chip customers like Cisco, Intel, Juniper Networks, Autodesk, BEA Systems and expanded business relationships with IBM, Sun Microsystems, Wells Fargo Bank, etc. He also led the expansion of their India based development team and was instrumental in establishing key processes to execute projects with the right blend of onshore and offshore components. Prior to OpenTech, Jeet has been in charge of key profit centers, as part of the senior management teams at Raffles Software, Kirloskar Computer Services Ltd. and Datapro, India. He has managed the development of over 200 projects in diverse fields like Manufacturing, Retail, Pharmaceuticals, Fitness, Heath-care and IT training and has managed production of over 1,000 hours of content. Jeet has a BS in Mathematics from the University of Pune and earlier studied for two years at National DefenseAcademy in India. Jeet enjoys all types of adventures, from summer time hiking adventures to Mount Whitney and Grand Canyon to winter time downhill skiing, it is tough to keep Jeet indoors for a long time. Jeet management skills also find an outlet in organizing and managing a number of activities for the local community in the Bay Area Silicon Valley.

Krishna Prasad (KP), Founder and VP - Services

KP has spent past 12 years managing diverse projects in web and content development, interactive multimedia, eLearning and new media. Prior to this, he was Associate General Manager at Mentorware Inc., leading a large cross-functional services team. He has evangelized and managed intellectual property and product development efforts and has been instrumental in development of processes and tools which helped to improve the work flow and team efficiency by up to 50%. He has also set up successful offshore development teams and has delivered solutions to multiple blue chip clients like Intel, BEA, Sun, Cisco, IBM, Lenovo and Juniper Networks and has managed content development projects for different verticals like biotech, health/pharmaceutical and construction. KP holds a bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, from Gulbarga University and is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) from Project Management Institute.
